WOO HOO...Date Night:-)

A couple of weeks ago Kris and I decided to bite the bullet and get a babysitter to watch the kids so we could have an ADULT night out. It's our anniversary on Monday so we wanted to celebrate! We took Alec and Mikayla over to Dawns house. She is the person who runs the in-home daycare where Mikayla goes while I am in school. She has two girls, one of which is Alec's age, so it worked out well. We left them at 4:00 and headed to Carrabba's. YUMMY. Then we just did some shopping and hung out. We had a super good time. We picked them up at 7:15. It is something that we want to do monthly. I wish we had family here so that they could watch the kids for us:-(

Today the Fire Dept. came to Alec's preschool and did a presentation for the kids. When I got there to pick him up they were just getting ready to leave...I caught them just in time so that I could get some pictures of Alec. He LOVES firetrucks. LOL. Of course he does....daddy is a cop so that is surely not cool! It's old news...BORING stuff...the cool thing to be is a FIREFIGHTER. Kris will be doing a presentation with Plato at Alec' preschool in the upcoming weeks.

Tomorrow is Alec's first T-ball practice. He is looking forward to it and so is Kris. Kris is helping coach the team....it's shaping up to be a busy summer already! Our summer schedule is quickly getting booked up. CRAZY. Well...only two more weeks of the semester and I am OUT for the summer...next year this month...GRADUATION!
