~PuMpKiN PaTcH~
Today was our annual trip to the Walsh Farms Pumpkin Patch. It was a chilly, beautiful autumn day here in Ohio....which translates to the perfect day to go to the patch:-) This year, Joe, Gina, and Christian met us there and we had such a fun time. The kids had a blast and picked out some wonderful pumpkins. Autumn is my very favorite time of the year. It's so amazing, fall in Ohio. There is nothing like it...it's one the best things about living in this state. What a fabulous day we had!
Hay Maze Time!
I'm following you Christian!
Christian climbing on the hay
I love this picture of Alec...he just looks so happy and carefree. This picture really captures his true personality!
Mikayla...on the go as usual
Annual Picture...I should dig out all the ones we have done over the years...it would be fun to compare them all!
Mikayla wasn't too sure about it
Petting Zoo!
Checking out the goats in daddy's arms
OK....here is a cropped picture of the one above. I just adore my son. He lights up my world!
Feeding the goats
Christian was really checking this all out
And so was Mikayla
Too funny....he didn't want to get TOO close.
I just love this picture
Which one????
Christian found a gourd and claimed it.
Hanging out by the pumpkins
Best friends with our kiddo's...Gina...are your crouching down??

Mikayla started to totally meltdown because there were a lot of people there and she was starting to overload. So, I put her IN the wagon to go get the pumpkin (we get ours from the field) and it was a VERY bumpy ride. Sensory seeking kids love things like this and the ride out to the field totally calmed her down. She was OK by the time we got out into the field...it was about a 10 minute walk.
See...I'm fine now....and ready to find my pumpkin!
Mommy's girl forever!
Strong girl! She picked this one out herself!
Autumn kisses for Christian
I think we should take this one home too everyone!
Let's push it back!
Joe and the kiddo's
This is a sweet picture of them
Alec had the hardest time picking a pumpkin this year. I think he walked a square mile radius before he finally found "the one."
Alec and I and please, don't look at the bags and dark circles under my eyes...I am actually still really sick but wasn't missing pumpkin patch day.
Walking back...

I ditto your love for fall! We are so lucky to live where we do to witness the leaves changing colors. I love the pictures! What fall family fun! Can't wait to see the pumpkins carved! I love Mikayla's outfit too...Mia has the same one...what can I say their Mamas have good taste:) What are the kiddos going to be for Halloween? Waiting in suspense:)

Wow - I had a lot to catch up on. And I have to say, Rock On Excellent Momma! I never realized that M has sensory issues. One of my best friends has a child with moderate-severe issues and it is hard. The smart aleck side of me wants to interject that she gave birth to this particular child. But, like you wrote, no matter if we carried our children in our hearts or in our tummies we never know what might happen. BUT we do know one thing - our children are blessings from above and we are damn lucky to be chosen to walk through life beside them. I don't know what I did before Myles and Ella... Seriously - no clue... Hmm...What in the world did I do?? And I noticed that you are getting ready for student teaching. I taught in the classroom for six years and this is my fourth year as a reading consultant. I am so happy that such a loving, compassionate person like you will be teaching our kids. Good luck!
And I love pumpkin patch pictures - the only thing that I do not like about Fall is that it is followed by Winter - blah.
Peace and Hugs,
Becca
